It is in very good condition with some slight contact wear from use. Trumpets had grown to 6 feet in length, and were first folded into a loop in the Middle Ages, when players of these “natural trumpets” had to adjust their mouths to change the notes. Independent reviews sent to me have all been critical; the few positive e-mails I've received seem to all have been from a few people who on further investigation I discovered had been prompted by Great-tunes to write to me.

Beautiful hymn tune based on a Maori song, scored for one soprano trombone, two tenor trombones, and one bass trombone. Plus they can be played and carried while marching. This instrument is in like new condition. This one is a fabulous player... although not the prettiest girl at the ball, she makes up for her looks with the amazing character and sound she produces.

Made from 100% cotton, it wears well on anyone. It is quite agile, though slide movements can become awkward lower down where a player has to jump quickly from a note where the slide is fully extended to (7th position) to one where the slide is fully retracted (1st position), as the low notes are only available in 7th position. (Higher notes are available with various alternative slide positions) Some trombones have an F trigger which solve this problem by allowing an alternative slide position for the low notes.

Antoine Courtois LEGEND 420 trombones offer a number of possible adjustments including different bells, different slides and rotary valve mechanisms.
